Asbestos Management & Removal Team Limited recognises that climate change and environmental factors can impact the health and safety of our people and operations. We commit to considering the effects of climate change, such as extreme weather, temperature variations, air quality, and emergency response requirements, when planning and managing work. We will evaluate how changing environmental conditions could influence occupational health and safety risks, including worker exposure and site safety, and implement appropriate controls, training, and emergency preparedness to ensure resilience against climate-related risks.
We actively consult and encourage the participation of all workers, their representatives, and other interested parties in the continual improvement of our OH&S management system. Our OH&S Policy is communicated to all employees, contractors, and subcontractors, and made available to clients, auditors, regulators, and other interested parties.
We continually improve our OH&S management system through monitoring, performance evaluation, and management review to ensure it remains effective, relevant, and resilient in changing conditions.
Every employee and subcontractor has a duty of care to work safely and protect their own health and safety and that of others, to report hazards, incidents, and unsafe acts, and to stop work immediately if unsafe conditions arise. We promote a positive safety culture in all aspects of our work.
We believe all incidents are preventable. Business objectives will never override health and safety priorities. Everyone has the authority and responsibility to stop unsafe work, and safety is a shared value embedded in everything we do.
